Longtime executive brings more than 25 years of experience and a deep commitment to Superior’s people, customers, and future.

COPPELL, Texas — Friday, October 9, 2026 — Superior Air Parts announces the appointment of Kent Abercrombie as Chief Executive Officer. Abercrombie has been with Superior for more than 25 years, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer, and has worked across finance, sales, and operations.

His experience across the business brings a broad understanding of Superior’s products, people, and customer relationships to his leadership role. His appointment reflects a longstanding commitment to the company and its continued success in the general aviation piston-engine aftermarket.

Superior Air Parts is “The Leading Choice for Quality Engine Parts Since 1967.” Through its FAA-approved PMA replacement parts and Millennium Cylinders, Superior has given generations of aircraft owners, engine shops, and distributors a choice backed by precision engineering, field-proven reliability, and a commitment to customer support.

“Superior has been an important part of my life for more than 25 years, and I’m proud of our team and what this company means to general aviation,” said Abercrombie. “Providing a choice has been at the heart of Superior since 1967. I’m committed to upholding that legacy, supporting our people, and continuing to earn the confidence of the customers and distributors who count on us.”

As CEO, Abercrombie will lead Superior’s business strategy and operations, with an emphasis on manufacturing excellence, customer relationships, and sustainable growth. His background in finance, sales, and operations provides a strong foundation for guiding the company’s priorities and supporting the teams responsible for its products and services.
