McFarlane Aviation is pleased to announce the availability of the first aftermarket FAA-PMA approved 24–28V flap motor part number AFC301002-0121. This direct replacement for OEM P/N C301002-0121 has been engineered with meaningful design improvements that make it more reliable, more durable, and better suited for demanding operating conditions than the original.
- The most notable improvement is a reduced tendency to trip the aircraft’s flap motor circuit breaker, a persistent annoyance for many operators of affected Cessna and Beechcraft models.
- The redesigned motor also resists demagnetization of its permanent magnets at low subzero temperatures, addressing a known failure mode of the OEM part.
Unlike the OEM motor, McFarlane’s flap motor features varnished motor windings applied during manufacture. This process permeates into the gaps between coil wires, providing adhesive and dielectric strength that delivers several protection benefits.
P/N AFC301002-0121 is available now at McFarlaneAviation.com. A companion replacement rubber disc (P/N C301001-0211) is also available for operators servicing the complete assembly.
