Garmin is excited to share that it is expanding its FliteCharts and SafeTaxi database coverage to Mexico and the Bahamas. The FliteCharts database provides geo-referenced terminal procedure charts, while SafeTaxi helps pilots confidently navigate the airport environment.
These databases have previously been available for other regions – but the addition of Mexico and the Bahamas will be welcomed by pilots flying in these specific regions. The databases are also available on Garmin Pilot – Bahamas is included with a U.S. Premium subscription, while Mexico is included with a Latin America Premium subscription.
The best way for customers to purchase these databases on FlyGarmin.com is in an Americas OnePak with FliteCharts or a North America device bundle. Standalone databases are also available for North America (FliteCharts) and the Americas (SafeTaxi). Existing subscribers will begin receiving these in the May 2026 database cycle (2605).
