There are a number of differentiating features that elevate the Sparker to the top spot in the MOSAIC-ready / E-AB market. The Sparker’s cockpit is one of the widest in the category and can easily accommodate crew as tall as 6’5”. Configured as a side-by-side two (2) seat, the Sparker’s refined and expansive cockpit provides spectacular views through its canopy. Ergonomically shaped individually regulated heated leather seats guarantee the crew’s comfort during long flights at chilly altitudes.
Touting the highest MTOW in the UL / LSA category, there are no pre-flight dilemmas regarding luggage with the Sparker as it offers the largest storage compartment conveniently accessible from within the cabin as well as an external door. In addition, there is a second smaller front compartment available too.
Cruise speeds of 190–200 mph are easily attainable with the Rotax 916iS engine. The Rotax 915iS, and EP 912 ULS engine options are also available. A DUC TYGER variable pitch propeller complements the configuration.
In keeping with the sophistication of the Sparker, the dashboard impresses like a larger class aircraft. The three (3) state-of-the-art Garmin G3X Touch flight displays are at the pilot’s fingertips with an option for two (2) hideaway info-tables that hold smart phones or tablets bringing the possible configuration to five (5) displays providing the ultimate situational awareness capability.
A ballistic parachute recovery system is only one of many safety features providing peace of mind. The Sparker airframe is built with Carbon and Kevlar fibers guaranteeing the highest possible strength to protect the pilot and passenger while at the same time having the minimal possible weight. The inner part of the fuselage is formed by a Kevlar shell, which again guarantees maximum strength in the crew compartment as well as the highest level of security and safety.
